Darryl was born and raised in Honolulu, HI, and moved to Oregon in 1984 to attend the University of Portland. He earned his degree in Communications Management and began his career in mortgages and financial services in 1989. Darryl enjoys helping people realize the American Dream of homeownership and providing financial options using the homes they already own to meet their investment and family needs.

Darryl loves spending time with his family and enjoys barbecuing and smoking meats (ask him for a recipe). He has played the guitar for almost 40 years and enjoys creating his own music. He also loves riding his road bike and appreciating nature while doing so. Being from Hawaii, he strives to live with Aloha in his heart. He encourages everyone to practice kindness and embrace the spirit of Aloha as we work together to make the world a better place!
