I grew up in Kansas, where I met my husband while attending the University of Kansas. I supported him during his 20-year playing and coaching career in the NBA, which took us all over the U.S. and around the world before we eventually settled in Las Vegas. This experience taught me about many cultures, and being married to an athlete instilled in me the values of positive thinking and teamwork.
