Michelle was born and raised in Miami, Florida. She has a Nicaraguan background and is a second-generation Latina. As far as she can remember she has always wanted to be in a profession that helps others and provides value to them. During her first corporate job and second semester of college she decided that she wanted to work in Human Resources, this was heavily influenced by the respect and admiration she had for her then HR team. During her last role in HR, she worked for a Mortgage Lender and learned everything from the beginning of an application to the post-closing functions in the life of a loan.
As Michelle continued to learn about the mortgage industry and speak with fellow colleagues about their experiences in helping a borrower with their loan, she started to admire the hard work and dedication they showed towards the process and especially the borrower. In March 2021, she began her journey towards educating herself further on the guidelines for various programs, and by June 2021 she had passed her state exam and obtained her license. During her journey to solidify her knowledge in the industry she was given the opportunity to interact with multiple borrowers and familiarize herself with their pain points which allowed her to ensure that their financing process was going to be as seamless as possible. This fueled Michelle’s drive and passion to contribute towards being a professional that provides a service filled with trust, communication and above all transparency.
